       We introduce ourselves as the only one API sucker rods surface pumping units manufacturer in Romania and we can add the biggest one in Europe and among the biggest producers of pumping units in the world.

       Since 1968 we have exported all over the world about 25.000 sucker rod surface pumping units, mainly in Russia, USA, Brazil, Argentina, India, Syria, Cuba, Turkey, a.s.o.

       Due to high performances and quality of execution we have been authorised since 1978 to apply the API (American Petroleum Institute) monogram on our pumping units (authorisation under separate cover - together with our fabrication range of API units).

       VULCAN SA produces oil well surface pumping units in 52 types with the stroke length between 915-4875 mm and loads between 3.5-19.4 tones under API / 11E.

       The full standard sucker rod surface pumping units delivered by us include the steel structure of the pumping unit, the cranks, the counterweights and the gear reducer, and on beneficiary request with electric motor and control panel, made in Romania or imported.

       A 75% quota of our pumping units fabrication range, meaning the VULCAN’s main range of sucker rod surface pumping units, includes the following types (most required by our beneficiaries):

2. GEAR REDUCERS

       S.C.VULCAN S.A.-Bucharest produces double and triple gear reducers, fitted exclusively to our products, having a peak torque rating up to 147,500 Nm and even greater for equipment intended for steam power plants.
