The main operations are performed using the usual equipment such as: saw machines, automatic and CO welding machines, WIG/MAG welding machines, welding tractors, KOMESMA and DEUMA automatic membrane walls welding machines, welding manipulators, pipes and tubs bending machines, membrane walls bending machines, a.s.o.

Workshop 1 - Pressure Parts

Bending maximum dimensions are 711-mm dia. and 65 mm thickness for tubes and up to 140-mm thickness for plates.
Besides the use of usual steels, since 1997, S.C. VULCAN S.A. has also been performing welded boiler products of special steels SA 335 P91 and X10CrMoVNb9.1.
The Welding procedure for SA 335 P91 was qualified according to ASME and the welding procedure for X10CrMoVNb9.1 was qualified according toTRD 201 and EN 288 – 3.
