In the Boiler Parts Workshop we manufacture power plant steam boilers, industrial boilers, recovery boilers, hot water boilers, marine boilers, pressure parts. The main operations are performed using the usual equipment such as: saw machines, automatic and CO welding machines, WIG/MAG welding machines, welding tractors, KOMESMA and DEUMA automatic membrane walls welding machines, welding manipulators, pipes and tubs bending machines, membrane walls bending machines, a.s.o.

Workshop 1 - Pressure Parts

Bending maximum dimensions are 711-mm dia. and 65 mm thickness for tubes and up to 140-mm thickness for plates.
Besides the use of usual steels, since 1997, S.C. VULCAN S.A. has also been performing welded boiler products of special steels SA 335 P91 and X10CrMoVNb9.1.
The Welding procedure for SA 335 P91 was qualified according to ASME and the welding procedure for X10CrMoVNb9.1 was qualified according toTRD 201 and EN 288 – 3.

Workshop 2 -PUMPING UNITS WORK-SHOP & MACHINING-ASSEMBLING

In the Machining and Assembling Workshop are manufactured fans and mills, rotary air pre-heaters, medium and heavy steel structures, drums, process equipment related to power, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical industries. Also this work-shop is doing the main works for the pumping units manufacturing.
VULCAN S.A. produces oil well surface pumping units in 52 types with the stroke length between 915 to 4.875mm and loads between 3.5 to 19.4 tones according to API spec. 11E and Romanian standard. The full standard sucker rod surface pumping units delivered include the steel structure of the pumping unit, the cranks, the counterweights and the gear reducer, on customer request with electric motor and control panel.

The S.C.VULCAN S.A. pumping units, incorporating high standard engineering, have proven to be some of world made most reliable and trouble-free pumping units.

Vulcan also supplies spare-parts for it´s 26.000 units supplied and operated worldwide.

Workshop 3 -Spare parts & Nuclear components

In the Nuclear Power Plants Components Workshop are manufactured components for CANDU-System nuclear power plants such as: tube made fittings, press formed fittings, feeder headers, piping, supports piping, hangers and buck-stays, flanges a.s.o.

Supplementary in this work-shop are done auxiliary works for the other work-shops. Since there are available many machining facilities, this work-shop is doing machining works for pumping units (finalised in 2nd factory) and drilling for piping (finalised in 1st factory).
